PAINTED TILES MURAL

In the Painted Tiles Mural or the "Your Tomorrow" event, Green Abu Dhabi 2010 displays the efforts of thousands of school children from all over the UAE but primarily from the city of Abu Dhabi who paint their vision of a greener Abu Dhabi on ceramic tiles. These ceramic tiles were generously gifted by RAK Ceramics and now are the canvas for each child to express themselves.  Organized by the award winning Architectural Agency BDP, all money generated by the sale of the tiles to either the parents or the schools are shared equally between the WWF and the Future Center of Abu Dhabi.  The Mural will be displayed for free to the city on a particular day near the end of the Exhibition.  Eventually, the mural will be gifted to the city and installed in either a public institution or a public space for all to see, and Green Abu Dhabi will announce the winning location 6 months after the closing of the Exhibition.

Opening will be at 6:00pm on November 3rd at the Tent in the Emirates Heritage Club.
